Semifinal Playoff Series is Set for March 7-9 at Outpost Ice Arenas in Albuquerque
Best-of-Three Playoff Series Begins Thursday, March 7 at 6:30pm MT
(Albuquerque, NM) Tuesday, February 27, 2024 – The New Mexico Ice Wolves® NA3HL team today announced that as the NA3HL South Division Champions, all divisional playoff games will be at home. Fans can witness the start of their quest for the 2024 NA3HL Fraser Cup National Championship as tickets are now available for its South Division Semifinals Playoff series which begins Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Outpost Ice Arenas in Albuquerque. The NA3HL NM Ice Wolves go into the Divisional Playoffs as the top seed in the highly-competitive South Division where they will play the fourth seed which is still not determined with three of the four possible playoff positions still up for grabs headed into the final weekend of the 2023-2024 regular season. In anticipation fans can visit the NM Ice Wolves NA3HL ticket site for a Three-Game Packages or single playoff game tickets. Game 3 is if necessary so any fans who purchase the Three-Game Package will get a credit toward a possible next playoff series or future NA3HL or NAHL games this season or next if a third game is not needed.
The NA3HL NM Ice Wolves secured the 2023-2024 South Division regular season championship this past weekend with a three-game sweep of South Division rival Atlanta Capitals and will finish their historic regular season on the road against the Austin Ice Bats in a three-game series beginning this Friday, March 1 in Austin, TX against the Ice Bats. Going into this weekend the NA3HL NM Ice Wolves sit securely atop the South Division with a record of 35-7-2 (2 OT losses) to add up to 72 points, marking franchise records for both wins and points.
The schedule for the NA3HL South Division Semifinals is below. All times are in Mountain Time Zone and all games will be at Outpost Ice Arenas in Albuquerque.
– Thursday, March 7 at 6:30pm
– Friday, March 8 at 4:30pm
– If needed, Saturday, March 9 at 2pm
The five NA3HL divisional playoff champions and one wild card team will advance to the 2024 NA3HL Fraser Cup National Championship Tournament where they will play a two-game round-robin format followed by a semi-final and a championship game at the St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, MO from March 20-24, 2024. A round-robin format with two pools will be implemented, with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the Semi-Finals, where they will then cross over to play the other top two teams from the other pool. The winners of the Semi-Finals will advance to the Fraser Cup Championship Game.
