Connor Sundberg

The Ice Wolves then selected Connor Sundberg with the 37th pick, a forward from Rogers High School in Minnesota. “Connor is a hard, physical forward with a chip on his shoulder mentality that will fit in perfectly with our community and culture. He’s a welcome addition to the dirty south,” said Coach Gilbert.

Jack Foy

With the 58th pick the Ice Wolves selected goaltender Jack Foy from the Cleveland Barons. Coach Gilbert is excited about the goaltending prospect “Jack is a special talent, his dedication to the game shines through in his technique. He is sure to be a fan favorite in Albuquerque.”

Ethan Mckay

With the 59th pick the Ice Wolves selected defenseman Ethan McKay from Marple Newton High School in Pennsylvania. Coach Gilbert said “Ethan brings a calm presence to the game but has some fight to him, and his ability to move the puck is something to be in awe of. We look forward to seeing him in an Ice Wolves sweater.”

Brayden Severin

With the 63rd pick the Ice Wolves selected forward Brayden Severin from Superior, Wisconsin. “Brayden’s skill and ability is evident from the jump; he can make a skill move in open ice and out muscle someone on the boards. He’s a welcome addition to Albuquerque,” commented Coach Gilbert.

Brooks Ellingson

With the 91st pick the Ice Wolves selected forward Brooks Ellingson from the Nashville Jr Predators. Coach Gilbert is ready to see his development and growth in Albuquerque, “Brooks brings a presence to the game that you cannot teach, and when you mix that with skill you get a monster of a player that we know he can become in New Mexico.”

Carter Morrison

With the 131st and final pick by the Ice Wolves, defenseman Carter Morrison from the Nashville Jr Predators. Coach Gilbert is thrilled for a strong defenseman, “Carter has a great mind for the game, and we believe he will be able to shut down the best in the league next season.
