1 Great Evaluation Opportunity
The NA3HL New Mexico Ice Wolves training camp got underway Thursday afternoon. Head Coach Isaac Washburn touched on the chance to see his players skill level, “Today was a good opportunity to see what guys did with their summers and who is really prepared and wants to grab a spot. Today was also an opportunity for us to set the standards and expectations for the type of culture we want this year.”
2 Battle of the Ages
The Ice Wolves have a very diverse age range at training camp and Washburn was thrilled to see the different ages battling head to head, “This was the first opportunity to get a look at the new younger players that we brought in and see how they are able to compete against bigger and older players.”
3 Exciting Start
Washburn has been looking forward to day one of training camp in order to start building the culture and start the season the right way, “There is a lot of excitement especially for the guys new to the organization, for them to come in and see the facilities but also see what our culture is all about.
