1 Veterans Stepping up
During day two of the Ice Wolves training camp Head Coach Isaac Washburn was thrilled with the compete level and intensity that the returning players brought, “It was a welcomed sight to see the veterans within the group start to step up more in day two to set the tone and up the intensity.”
2 Interested vs Invested
Washburn has been hard at work building the culture for his team and he’s excited to see interest vs invested, “There’s a difference between being interested in something and being invested in something. Really looking to see which of the younger guys are truly invested and committed to doing what it takes to be successful at this level.”
3 Foundation Building
Being a new coach, Washburn is excited to teach his guys but also is eager to see who wants to learn, “We’re only two days in so we don’t want to overload guys yet, but we’re starting to build the foundation of the habits and concepts that we want to embed within our DNA. It’s been great to see which guys have the desire and willingness to learn and grow.”
