Congrats to defensemen Evan Axell on his commitment to University of Wisconsin-Superior to play NCAA D3 hockey next year! Axell is the first commitment in NM Ice Wolves NA3HL franchise history!
Axell, the New Mexico Ice Wolves captain, has scored 35 points in 25 games this season including 18 goals and 17 assists. Axell averages 1.40 points per game and has a plus/minus of +22 this season!
The defensemen will join the UW-Superior Yellow Jackets hockey team next fall who competes in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
