to Bernalillo County Sheriff Office North Area Command Center

  • The New Mexico Ice Wolves® North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) team Teddy Bear Toss nets more than 300 teddy bears and stuffed animals for the Bernalillo County Sheriff Office (BCSO) to be used as emotional support for kids in troubled situations. The team delivered the stuffed animals to BCSO North Area Command Center.

  • Fans and supporters in the community have a second chance to toss new or gently used teddy bears and stuffed animals for BCSO this Friday, December 15 at 6:30pm MT when the NM Ice Wolves North American Hockey League (NAHL) welcome South Division rival Oklahoma Warriors to Outpost Ice Arenas. Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen will have a pregame ceremonial faceoff.

  • The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office has always prioritized initiatives that aid in providing emotional support to children. Over the years, BCSO has developed several programs focusing on the well-being of young individuals in the community, especially those undergoing traumatic experiences. BCSO deputies are trained to use these teddy bears as tools to build trust and provide a sense of security to children during incidents that are often overwhelming and scary.
